It's so much easier to learn number decomposition when it's fun! Our 2 mischievous caterpillars are ready to help little ones learn about compositions and comparisons! This lovely wooden educational game for children aged 3 and up will simplify understanding this concept by materializing numbers and manipulating three-dimensional elements. Children will use the colored beads forming the caterpillars' bodies to represent the numbers on the 33 game cards. The numbers to recognize can be in the form of digits, hand fingers, or a dice constellation. By stacking the beads on the wooden support, the child will understand how many beads need to be added or removed from the caterpillar's body to obtain a given quantity. Once this first step is mastered, you can introduce the concept of "greater than" and "less than" comparison using the dedicated cards. An explanatory guide will help you make the best use of this game for children in pre-school, middle, and senior kindergarten. This game is part of Janod's educational range, developed in collaboration with a school teacher to best align with the learning and curricula of each level. It is made of FSC® wood and cardboard
